Rock, the first test is to take a volt meter and put the leads on the battery posts (black on neg. and red on pos.). Note voltage (12.6) or what ever it is. Then start car and rev it up and see if voltage increases. If not, then I can't remember where you go. If I had hands on, i think I could figure it out but...

PS Next you need to check to see if gen. is putting out, but can't remember how to check, if it is, then voltage regulator is bad. Or bad connection in wire.

well i got battery charged works fine..now i have another problem..lol it just never ends!!!i am still waiting for new air filter and i am replacing fuel filter tomorrow..and just got done replacing spark plug.. So i still have to pull choke out to start no matter if its warm or not..but now if i am pushing gas pedal up to 2/3's down it runs fine but if i push further it bogs down and takes a minute to catch back up and then kinda just chugs..until i let up on gas pedal..And it also sounds like its revving way to high like its about to blow!!! I dont know..but i wish i knew a little more about motor!!!! :(
