Default Gears

Hi....Gotta to ask the dumb question of the day.My Precedent has 23's on it and I installed the spring, adjusted the cable and with the GPS it does 23mph which I take it is a fair speed. We tow a 3200 lb racecar back on the return road 6 weekends in the race season. The remainder of the year is funtime!!! I was thinkin of swapping the rear gears to the 8-1s or is this too hard on the engine towing

Thanks Pro1

gears really only help out on top end,and you'll lose a bit of low end, so im not sure you'll wanna go that route. the biggest upgrades for torque in my opinion are the clutch springs. you can mess with the governor a bit more too......top of rear end...loosen nut with a 7/16th wrench and turn pin a very tiny amount clockwise....and i do mean a tiny amount.
