I rented a pickle fork from Advance auto to separate the ball joints, but that was really it. My cordless impact got a workout.

none........and was easy enough to put together, the directions were clear, and went on in no time (that means alot for a backwoods texas redneck).............the rear leaf springs a little stiff, but sure makes you smile when you got 4 people on it......

What have you done to the motor to get 22mph out to of it???

QUOTE=ProjectClubCar;822484]dh2, galveston waving a high 5
is the cart for hunting or neighbor hood play?

i ask this because set up is important, i have the 7.5 allsports lift, i would also go with an aluminum rear seat, the steel ones dont last long down here.the first rear seat i bought only lasted a year, then the tubing just rusted to where it broke in many places....

as far as the motor,mine is stock and i get 22mph at 3800 rpms, a far cry from the 10 mph when i first got it.

hope this helps, this is the place to come to for info, site sponsors, mechanics, and people with great knowledge. all of the stuff i have purchased has come from this web site

good luck[/QUOTE]

I'm getting the same, 22mph at 3800rpm with an FE-290 motor...

All I have done is zip tie the governor, modify the driven clutch, and add a lift and 23" tires.

dh2,

just like you, i did my homework, i got all the info i could and made my own assessment. i zipped tied my governor, unhooked the brown wire from the rev limiter, put a 21 inch tires on the rear,(with no lift kit they worked fine) and last but not least, and to me the most important part to me. i put a tiny tach(best 50 bucks you will ever spend on the cart)on the dash to keep from blowing the motor.

when i did this my motor revved to 4400 rpms, (MOTOR BUSTER!!!!) these carts are tough, but not bullet proof, my motor can run at 3800 to 3900 rpms, all day long. i basically use 4000 rpms as my mental red line. wich is were the tach comes in...............

Hey AllSports lift guys can you help me out? I started the rear on the lift and I think they sent me some wrong parts. I have to call them tomorrow. Here's my thread:
