2001 club car no spark
My 2001 club car has no spark, removed ground on rpm limiter and cart runs on just about idle only, nothing more, motor is a FE290D please help. What could the problem be?

Stupid question, but have you re-connected the wire you unhooked to see if it fixes it.

The ignition coil or the RPM limiter. In my experience, if the coil is bad, it will run for a minute until the engine heats up and then die. If the RPM limiter is bad, then it can be sporadic or quit completely.
