As long as I've been working on mine, I've never seen anyone come up with a good idea for G1 bumpers. I've even searched....nothing. I still have my stock bumper on the rear of mine.

I bought an older brush guard from the local Polaris dealer for $25 and did some mods to it for the front. The rear I built out of 1 1/2" tubing. Like it a lot.

Gray, did you use the stock bumper frame mounts? I'd like to see that....

Slo, I used the holes/brackets in the frame as mounting points and fabbed up plates out of 1/4" flat stock to bolt to them. On the front bumper I cut the ends on the mounting tabs at an angle to match the stock brackets on the frame and welded them to the plates I made. In the back I welded 6" long pieces of 1 1/4" tubeing to the plates and the bumper and bolted to the original mounting holes. Will get some pics if you want.
