yamaha 1986 needs help on checking motor
how do I test this motor? Just bought this CG yamaha G2E 1986.

yamaha 1986 needs help on checking motor
How do I by pass everything to check if motor is good? Our first CG and don't know much about it. Need some help!

Connect the A1 to F2 with a jumper wire 6awg or larger. motor should turn using a 12 volt battery to the to the A2 and F1. will run a a slower speed, but if hooked to 36 volt, the torque could be dangerous. 12 volts to test, This will point out bad brushes, bad field coils, shorted armature windings, etc
