Thanks spring,

it was your thread, that made this happen......
if it were'nt for your thread........i would have taken it to somebody, and had it done, dont know what it would have cost me, but it would have been more than i could afford, money is so tight right now, taking care of my wifes mom who has Alzheimer's disease.......every little penny counts!!!!
so now i have new parts i cant use, cause i dont think i can put the old one back together......lol
it's gonna be awhile, before i can purchase a new one, but i will save up....gonna need those parts someday.....lol

Not trying to rub it in or anything but I was able to re-use my undamaged keyway...

Hope you get back up and running soon!

You probably read this in another recent thread, but one thing that may help you, as long as you are using the torque spring which I'm assuming you got from Tom at CPP, you can use any driven clutch from 1988-up as long as it looks the same as the one you just "removed". I've been told that the only difference between the 1988-1996 clutches and the 1997-up clutches is that spring. The older ones are calibrated for counter-clockwise operation and the newer ones are calibrated for clockwise operation. But Tom's torque spring is calibrated to work both ways so once you replace the spring in the clutch with the torque spring, the clutch will work on all carts from 1988-up.

When I look on eBay it seems like the newer clutches are cheaper and easier to find.

Can't help with the bolt/keyway but make sure you fire up the engine and take some emery (sand) paper to clean up the shaft. And throw some Neverseize on for good measure.

PCC...
I had to go back in time to try to find out what year your cart was,
You might want to put 04 DS in your signature or posts so we know!

From my 2007 IPL:

Key: #1018333401 ~ 3/16 Sq X 1.50"
Bolt: #102242101 ~ 5/16-18 X 3/4" Hex head with Patch
Washer: #1017327 ~ Driven Clutch Washer, Belleville

I don't have a clue what a "patch" on the bolt is, or what a "Belleville" washer is, but, I'm guessing that it's just CC being picky!

Hope this helps!

Pretty sure you have to fire up the motor and run the transmission on the phantom belt to turn the driven clutch shaft.
