I made a simple frame from 1-1/2" angle,that bolted across the seat-back risers,then 2-rails run straight back for the box to sit on,with 2 more pieces vertical,joined across the bottom,sitting in the bag-well.2-bolts at the seat,2-more in the bag-well.Then either bolt the box down,or make a simple hinge.I built a steel-box,so I welded 2-tabs on,and bolted thru the horizontal angles(front-to rear pieces),and used lock,nuts to set the tension so it doesn't rattle or bounce.Its been on there 5years,and no complaints.Hope this helps.

its not that hi its a standard 6 " jakes lift 22" tires tale gate folds down & my dog can jump up in it
