95 Club Car barely moves
95 Club Car barely moves forward. Total voltage across batteries reads 44V. The solenoid is clicking. I'm reading about 8V hitting the motor when I push the pedal. I've got the wheels jacked up off the ground (in case that's relevant). Is the voltage supposed to read that low on the motor posts? How can I make sure the solenoid and voltage regulator are working properly? Additionally the car runs pretty fast in reverse. And at the risk of sounding completely ignorant, what is the 6 step potentiometer for?

Re: 95 Club Car barely moves
44 volts is extremely dead. Re-charge your batteries and attempt to try to operate the vehicle again. If your batteries will not charge, you either have a battery or a charger problem. You may have other issues as well, but the voltage needs to be in an operable range before we can diagnose any further.
