93 Club Car Barely Moves
Hello everyone,
I bought a 93 club car that was suppose to need batteries. I bought 6 new batteries and switched them out 1 at a time so I didn't get the wiring mixed up. Put a full charge on the cart and it barely moves at a crawl. Any ideas?? Thanks, Jerry |

What is your total pack voltage measured with a volt meter? Keep in mind these things aren't rockets...most only go 12 to 13 MPH.

Re: 93 Club Car Barely Moves
I don't have a volt meter but I have a test light that is showing at least 36 volts. I have owned electric carts before so I have an idea of what they are suppose to do but this one I can hop on one foot while the other foot is pushing the pedal to the floor and have no problem keeping up with it.
Thanks, Jerry |

Re: 93 Club Car Barely Moves
So it is moving as fast as a walk? like 3-6mph? If so I do not suspect the controller. Maybe the speed indicator device.... where is yours located? Under the floor, yes, but is it on the driver's side (potentiometer) or on the pass side (MCOR)? (locate the black box thingy)
You will need a digital volt meter with 7 function capability for the next step. Every sparkie owner should have one. They vary in price and quality from $3 to $300 |

Nobody here speaks "test light". We need real numbers.
