96 cc ds series, current flow?

Hello again. I'm really spending a lot of time trying to diagnose my stuck cart and am wondering if anyone can explain the current flow. I have a continuously variable pot, series cart. I know the batt voltage goes first to pot, then from pot to speed controller via yellow or purple. The solenoid is connected to pedal via the pot and then what? I don't know what is activating the solenoid.

I've removed the obc. I took the yellow wire that went to the obc from the solenoid and ran it to ground. No more obc lockout.

I really don't know what the lugs on the motor are doing. I get full pack voltage on 3 of the 4. I believe A1 and A2 just get switched to reverse direction via f/r switch?? What about S1 and S2?

Explain what the problem is with your cart and perhaps someone can point you in the right direction. The microswitch in the potentiometer is what activates the solenoid

Im hoping to gain a better understanding of how the electrical system in general works. I've studied the schematics a lot and know where everything goes. Just not the function.

I dont have a schematic on the internet but im sure you can find one easily by doing a search. The theory behind series carts are pretty simple but I am a mechanic not really good at explaining how.

99 series cart any make.
1. Electric motor tries to consume the complete battery pack instantly for any job. (allowed to happen thes equals a disaster that won't last long)
2. Controller limits motor access to battery amperage. (above situation under control)
3. Throttle input device tells controller how much amperage to pass (requires sober operator for proper operation)
4. Solenoid is main safety cut off
5. F&R is rotary contact switch which determines which way the motor spins.
6. couple of micro switches turn stuff on and off
