G16E Both Diodes Blown
G16 E came in dead. Blows fuse in harness 10 amp installed by customer 3 amp I think is what is supposed to be there .Ign on and in forward or rev position all ok. As soon as the pedal switch closes SNAP goes the fuse. Checked and Both Diodes Have continuity both directions. Will that cause it to take out fuse or Am I still Likely to have a short. This is with all 3 small connectors unhooked from f/r sw and controller. I find it ODD to blow both diodes. With the diodes out &good fuse ok when push on the pedal. The wire from the pedal sw goes to 1 of the diodes.
Any thoughts While I`m waiting on diodes? Owner was just riding along about 1/3 throttle and he said it felt like he stabbed the brake but he didn`t and it quit but rolls free. |

Re: G16E Both Diodes Blown
Fuse was supposed to be 10a on that model. I would pull & inspect the motor next. Replace both diodes.
