Default 94 club car belt too short

I have a 94 gas club car. I am putting a Honda clone in. I have the stock clutches with the adapter but my sock belt is too short my starter solenoid hits the transmission. Anyone know where I can get a belt that is 2 or even 3 inchs longer than the stock belt?

Thanks

Billy

You mean the starter solenoid on the clone is in the way ? Take it off, you don't need it, adapt the original S/G to start the engine. The clone only puts out a 3 amp charge anyway, not enough to keep your battery charged. If you don't want to go that way, check out the posts here; http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/clone-engine-swaps/

Some of the clone engines had 20 amp charging .... easy to get a longer belt at Napa or just different yr model golf cart.
Start by placing your motor where it fits and measure for belt.

I did take the solenoid off and the starter itself is what is hitting the transmission now. Just for clarification, I'm talking about the drive belt, I won't be using the pedal start/alternator set up. just a key start.
