1990 Gas Club Car-What weight oil?
What is the best oil to use in my 1990 Gas club Car? What about full synthetic?

40 ozs, or 1 qt and 8 ozs, i have to agree go with something like amesoil or castrol syn. i know they cost more but you can,t beat them........and most of them use strait 30 wt. although your not gonna kill it by using 10w30 if your ina pinch.............................................

what about using a 10-40 syn? i have some red line laying around i would like to use |

Full synthetic is never a bad idea!
Depending on where you normally get your oil, SAE 30 can sometimes be difficult to find in synth. It's to my understanding that the KF82 flat head engines only take about a quart, Add a little more the 3/4's of a quart, then proceed to add more while your checking the dipstick. Note: KF82's don't have an oil filter. |

FYI- some of the small air cooled engine manufactures are doubling the warrany if synthetic crank case oil is used.
