^^^^ this is all correct. Way too many variables to guess at range. We hear reports as high as 60 miles on the 70V105Ah pack. I think it will surprise you how low you can set the Navitas max discharge with a 70V pack and still have a very drivable cart.

Eco Battery, I would like to hear your comments about recent post regarding a message I received from Alltrax. Here is the thread I posted:

I agree with everyone in the camp saying amperage goes up with speed. The test data posted is consistent with what I have seen in my testing. Wind drag and rolling resistance increase at a way higher rate than controller efficiencies.

Thanks for your reply. Wind drag and rolling resistance must not have been figured in his description of motor characteristics.

I must add, I trust Alltrax with their products and descriptions. Just not this one.

It doesn't help much to rate a motor with no connected load!

For what it's worth, I have my Navitas throttle turned down to 25%, and it's still plenty. Regen is set down to about the same level just to prevent jerking, but I live in coastal Carolina. Other geography may need other settings, I guess, but I'd say go small then bump up. What I do know is that with the throttle turned way up, my neighbor with a Navitas picked his EZGO nose off the ground, crashed it and ended up in the hospital along with his teenage son.

Just have to not be unwise with these machines, I'd argue.

Don't do 45-50 on a golf cart. Cars are the tool for that.

What size is the B.M.S. used in the 70v/105ah setup?
