Default Rebuild or buy reconditioned

I have a 350 engine on my ezgo workhorse. I have 130 compression on one side and 0 on the other. The piston is not moving at all on the bad side. What will a rebuild consist of.

MOST LIkely you have a broken connecting rod which is common in these engines you can go with a simple rebuild kit for around 300 or just go the 600 and get a ct rebuilt engine exchange for it and pay a few bucks for the performance upgrade

I'm not a big fan of rebuilding the Robin Subaru engine as it has no crankshaft bearings or caps so there is no way to renew the crank surface. To me this is a throwaway engine

The engine is fairly easy to R&R.

It's really easy to remove. You will have it out in no time.

The service guide and engine service guide are available in the tech section at the top of this board. It will walk you through either the rebuild or simply the removal process if you are going with a CT engine. I rebuilt mine and it was really easy. When this one finally gives up the ghost, Ill go with a CT engine.
