12v Back but no Go
Uhhh, this is getting frustrating. So here's a recap of what I've been through (2010 Emerge):
1. Repair guy replaced battery lead. 2. Was driving and noticed no lights/blinkers/anything 12v, but cart ran fine. 3. Realized he pulled a or a couple wires loose 4. After messing around for a while (see below thread) I figured out how to get 12v back. Fan came on and tested all lights/blinkers/etc.... 5. Buttoned everything back up and tried to go for a ride and now no motor. I also noticed that the fan comes on then goes off after about 10 seconds. All lights, etc.. stay on. Backup alarm works. 6. Unwired the two wires that got pulled loose in #1 to get back to my initial issue of having no 12v. Still does not run. So something in my fix messed up power to the motor (maybe shorted something out). So in the attached picture wires 2 and 9 were loose and I had motor and no 12v. When I attached them I got 12v for lights and fan for about 10 seconds but no motor. Disconnected 2 and 9 and still no motor or 12v (reverse alarm still works) even though before in this state the motor ran. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I'm stuck in the midwest with no one who has any knowledge of these. |
