2004 ez go 295 runs great then will completely stall out

As you say, it's not easy to give a time frame. A lot depends on style of driving, quality of fuel etc. Plus we can't tell how bad the valve heads have worn, I and a few others here have seen the valve edges worn to a thin edge like box knife blades and just as sharp. We have also seen them so worn that they have passed the edge of the seat and just about sealing on the sides of the seat. Who knows?🙀
