What is an MCI engine
I thinking of replacing the engine in my 1999 EZGO. In searching for them on-line I keep seeing the pre-MCI comment. What is an MCI engine? When was an MCI engine installed in golf carts. Does my 1999 cart have an MCI engine (original engine) installed? Thanks for your replies.

MCI engines do not have a separate exhaust manifold. The MCI has the exhaust manifold built into the head.
