![]() I installed a battery pack made from Nissan Leaf batteries and.... nothing.
What could I have messed up. + to solenoid - to controller I did’t connect any of the wires from the factory charger. It is a 48v EzGo about 8 years old. |

![]() charger interlock wire. If a charger is connected to your cart there is a wire that tells the controller the charger is connected. This prevents the cart from driving away while connected.
If you leave it disconnected then the controller will think the charger is plugged in and you won't go. |

![]() I connected this, without connecting the rest of it. Still nothing. I guess it all needs to be connected.

![]() Your going to need to do the OBC bypass.
Here's a sticky on it: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...bypassing.html Are you still using the golf cart charger for your new battery pack? |

![]() OBC? Isn't that for club car? I thought he had EZGO.
The reed switch can be seen in the thread below. When the charger is connected, the reed switch opens up so there is no V on the little wire going to the controller. So the controller knows not to go because it is plugged in. When the charger is unplugged from the cart, the reed switch closes and there is V on the little wire so the controller knows it is safe to go. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...tml#post628945 Hopefully this shows you the piece you are missing. Sorry for the delayed reply. |
