Default Lithium Batteries

I am thinking of going with lithium batteries. I have read up on them but I can’t find how many you actually need.

I’ve seen battery packs and individual batteries. Anyone know which is better?

I have 2004 48v precedent. 440 Navitas controller, Lester summit II charger. 12’ wheels and 23” tires with 6” lift kit.

I just can’t find much info on what lithium would be the best

I like the self contained packs. Easy to hook up 2 wires and done. More room left for storage. Might be hard to find right now (covid/supply chain). But it doesn't matter which way you go, 48 volts is 48 volts.

I am very partial to the Eco Batteries. EB is a sponsor of BGW and although stock is a problems for now, they are very responsive when you have a question.

They have single packs with all of the accessories needed for an installation, no surprises later.

While 48v is 48v you'll need to decide on ah. The higher the more mileage you get between charges. EB lowest is 72ah then you can get 2 to be at 144.

Lots of people are going with extreme karts as well which are easy drop in.

Allied mashes some but you'll need 2-4 depending on your needs.

There is a whole sub in here just about lithium. You'll just need to decide how much you want to spend.
