Ezgo DCS Lithium upgrade
When you upgrade to lithium do you have to adjust the regen braking in the controller? Thanks

Re: Ezgo DCS Lithium upgrade
Oh yes, absolutely! When I went lithium I changed the air pressure in the tires, changed the regen setting in the controller, changed the throttle ramp rate and changed the springs.
I'm guessing, but when I changed to lithium I probably reduced the vehicle weight by 1/3rd. That has a big effect. For my regen I set the plug braking crazy low. I think I set it to 30 amps or some such. I reduced the max battery regen amps to 84 or 87. I played with the regen setting for a while but I love how the cart drives now. |
