97 ez wont move buzzer goes off in runn mode

i just got this 97 cart for $250 and it's in really good shape. the buzzer goes off when ever you put it in the run mode. i down loaded a tech book from this site but its for 2001 and up carts. i thought it was a dcs cont. but looking at the book it seems to me its not, it only has one connector at the top of th looks jue controler it looks like the pitcher in the book. traced the buzzer wireing out and they go to the cont.can iuse this bb ok to help me throught this? if not does anyone have some info that will help me?
by the way this is a great site and is now one of my favs!!!

Run/Tow Maint switch on controller cover = DCS for that year.
Otherwise, it's a series/fleet.

sorry i didnot relize my post was so screwed up??? will this book help me and the f/r switch,pwr switch, and pedal switch all checkout fine.i have not pulled the controller out yet. can you get into it?
