Default Identifying yr. cart other than data plate

I've heard that you can also identify an EZ-GO cart by the driver's side frame rail. When I got the cart the data plate had been removed. It appears to be a 94'-01.5' model. I'm leaning more towards a 96' model. I've been looking on the frame rail on the driver's side of the cart, but cannot see any identifying marks. Saw some part #'s under the front leaf springs, but assumed they were the part #'s for them. Also if this helps it has the 3 bolt steering column in the floor. I thought I read somewhere that can distinguish between yrs also. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Jeff

My data plate was removed also but I found a tag under the seat. Lift seat and the plastic piece covering the very back of batteries. Under that on a rail was a sticker with all the info.

Sorry I don't know the names of all the stuff.
