Help with a upgraded EZGo Marathon solenoid??
I have a 90 Series Marathon, that has been upgraded to 48 volts. It has the heavy duty white rogers 586, Axe 4844. My wife took it out and got home and left the key on for a day and a half. When i went to get on and go, press the pedal and no go? Controller has its green light on the solenoid clicks, I have checked all the wiring and cont. on all micros. When I rebuilt this cart 6 months ago everything was replaced except for the F/R and the Pot box? Could it be my solenoid is fried?? As far as the stickies diag. It tests out that the reistor is bad? I replaced that and still nothing?? If I jump the 2 big posts it will go. Is this a bad solenoid or the diode??
Thanks for any help!!! Greg Duncan |

Bad solenoid. Contacts are fried. ALWAYS remember "Just because it clicks doesn't mean it good"
