![]() has anyone stuck an atv type rear suspension on a cart? chain drive?
my raptor's got a pretty simple yet effective swingarm type. a little welding and such but i think it could work fine. motor would just need a sprocket. i'm big into atvs.. looking at getting a cart to tinker with very soon. i had an electric but it wasn't cutting it for me so made some $ off it and been looking for a gas one since |

![]() i actually took the engine and rear end from an 85 atc 250 and put it in my golf cart. it was a lot of custom fab, but i love it now. totally worth all the work i put into it. fyi, it has a direct drive, not chain.

![]() This is what we started with. It took me and a friend about 10 weekends to do it over the winter. Total invested is around $2500.00 but I had been collecting parts for about a year.
Cheaper if you're not in a hurry and just pick stuff up when you find it. ![]() |
