EZ-GO ST 4X4 front brake line
EZ-GO is no longer supplying the front brake line assembly, part number 73791-G01, which was made by Goodridge Fluid Transfer as their part number 73791. This is not a surprise as many other parts for this vehicle are no longer available from EZ-GO. The original line rusted out after six years of use. Despite being advertised as having "stainless steel brake lines," only the hoses are actually stainless, while the fittings are made of plain steel. After the fittings rusted out and caused the brakes to fail, we looked for a replacement. I found a maker of custom stainless steel brake hoses, who primarily handles motorcycles. They will do custom fabrication, so I sent them the specifications for the old hose. The new hose cost $150 with shipping and is of very high quality. They also have excellent service and lead time is only two days. Contact information and their part number is below.
Part number: 66-HBF-EZGOST44 Moto-Heaven Sugar Grove, PA (877) 416-0969 I am sure they can also make a rear hose assembly for the same vehicle. Daniel |
