92 club car acting weird

When I'm driving forward and to a stop every once in awhile the cart will start to drive backwards. Foot is off the gas pedal and on level ground. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help me trouble shoot?

I also have a 92 and mine does this from time to time. From what I understand it is known as dieseling and it occurs from to much carbon buildup in the motor. The carbon will reignite and keep the motor running in the opposite direction momentarily. Your easiest and first attempt at fixing is run some seafoam or similar product through the gas tank to help clean out the carbon buildup.
