Here is a pic of an older intake, the small hole in the flange goes to where it hole is on the outside of mine. But mine has a walbro carb. maybe there was a nother intake between these to and the barb was just broken off.

Well, that stinks. Hopefully you can get a replacement. Did you have the old carb, or did you buy a new one?

I have the old carb, i purchated a rebuild kit and float and bowl. I installed the float bowl and inlet needle for now. I will try to tap the manifold for a brass fitting if that wont work I will order a new one, $42.

One goes to tank / one goes to crank (bottom of engine case) and 1 goes to carb. Should be 3 arrows 2 in (tank / crank case) 1 out (carb).
