1979 Gas Yamaha G1
Back fires at all speeds. Has good spark, 120 psi compression, cleaned carb, air box is tight and muffler is disconnected....Still back fires. Please help. Thanks

Why is muffler disconnect two strokes need back pressure to run properly! Also if it's back firing chances are the seals are junk from it

Ah gotcha check crank seals carb throttle shaft for exercise play and spray some carb cleaner around the intake boot while it's running listen for rpm change to see if there is cracks in it..is there any raw fuel in front of the carb?
