Default G2 dash question

After a month of staring at the rectangular opening just below the cup holders--what it's for is still eluding me. It has rubber strips top and bottom.
I know it will be "duhh" when I find out. Please tell me so I can ponder something else!!

Golf ball holder? My best guess since I have never seen a G2 dash.

You're not alone. I remember reading recently someone asking why the body had that big depression in the back between the rear wheels.

It is getting harder and harder to find someone who owns a golf cart to use on the golf course. Even the private golf communities around here have golf carts swarming the streets that wouldn't be permitted on the course. Residents rent carts when they play golf.
