Charging Issue
Hello all. I am having a problem with charging on my Precedent gas. I am only getting 12.2-12.4 volts when running. I have changed out my solenoid, and replaced worn brushes already. How can I test for what the issue is?
On a side note, the orange and red wires near the solenoid (see pic) are not/were not connected to anything so I'm not sure what their purpose is or if they should have connected to something? The red appears to be coming from the voltage regulator which seems coincidental. I appreciate any insight. |

Re: Charging Issue
No I haven't. how would I test it?
Sorry disregard, I just found how to check it by bypassing it. Appears that is the issue as there is lots of voltage directly from the starter generator. Thank you for the idea. |
