1990 ezgo 2cycle
my 90 modle 2 cycle ezgo has to be choked every time,even when hot.I have rebuilt moter,replaced seals,new fuel pump an new coil.I can take belt off an get it started an will rev all the way up but under a load with belt back on it will just idle. clutch is working good as far as i can tell. any help would be nice,thanks

The very first thing that comes to mind is that you have the symptoms of a piston that is the wrong way round. Are you sure that you positioned the ports to the inlet side?

Agree with Dave Box if you just re-did the engine. Remove the exhaust manifold and see if you are looking at ports or not when the piston is visible. Ports need to be on other side for intake.
Now if you have that correct, then do some checking on carb linkage. |
