2007 ezgo st sport no power under load
Good morning BGW friends. I am having a problem with a st sport2 I just bought. It runs great on flat ground but when I put it under a load or up a hill it losses most all it's power. The motor was just rebuilt like a month ago. I can't figure out why it is doing this. Could it be the clutch? If so how would I check that? Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Probably the clutching. Can you make a video of it shifting up on blocks?

Yes I can do that. What am I looking for it to do exactly?

I would try to get a video of at least 3-4 full shifts from idle. That may give us an idea of what is going on. Make sure to get both clutches in the video at the same time.

Re: 2007 ezgo st sport no power under load
Hey sorry I have been out of town for a while and I am just getting back to work on this cart. One thing I found so far is the front motor clutch was going bad. I have replaced it and it seems to run a Lil better but if I back it down in a small ditch it still will barley pull it's self out. Motor lugs way down . I ran it through a few neutral revs and the front clutch closes up almost to the top and the rear clutch seems to go down pretty low. What else should I look for?

Re: 2007 ezgo st sport no power under load
well if your rear clutch is not set for torque or is worn the clutch can open to easily and hence the sluggish movement , also these can barely get out of their own way to begin with in stock form with a stock engine , you may want to consider a 28 degree clutch upgrade and torque spring
