Marathon leaf spring install help
I have a 89 marathon that I broke a leaf spring on. I removed it and welded it back together and am having trouble reinstalling it. Would someone explain how to install it please.

Re: Marathon leaf spring install help
Welding a leaf spring is a very bad idea.

Re: Marathon leaf spring install help
I would think that spring steel is much harder and therefore have much different characteristics than the mild steel most of us are use to welding, but then again you could be a master welder and do that kind of thing all the time. If not, be careful with a welded spring.
