Someone gave me a brush guard off a Polaris side by side and I couldn't let it go to waste. What do you think?

Can anybody tell me how to remove the long bolt on the generator/starter on a G1
Yamaha . When I tried to remove it hits the frame before clearing.

jack the cart up in the air and put jack stands under the frame not the swing arm. then lower the jack. That should left the swing arm come down enough to clear the bolt.
