Default Dead '87 Yamaha G2

While I was driving my 1987 G2 Yamaha golf cart it just shut down. I've checked the relay & it is good & all fuses I could find seem to be ok. Also I can bypass the relay & the starter/generator will run. Any thoughts?

Is there any way to check if the pedal switch is bad?

Look up in the sticky section under.. so your yami won't start. Smallblock Dave explains how to test the switch for power..

Thanx everyone for the help. It turned out to be the fuse behind battery. I had checked that 1st & the fuse was good. After 100.00 & a lot of bad words i checked the fuse again & found the plastic fuse holder had melted inside blocking the connection. I replaced the in line fuse holder, another plastic one & after a 1/2 hour ride or so it melted & blocked the connection again. Any thoughts on why this keeps happening? Once again any help is appreciated.
