Default Yamaha g1

I have put a new cdi box on it and new carb. Cleaned the fly wheel and the Magneto. It will crank up and run but it's nit running like it was because my cdi box went out. It doesn't same to have the rpm that it had. I've jacked up off the ground the rpm are then but under a load it doesn't the high rpm like did. I'm got check all wires and test cdi and magneto pulsar coil. If everyone has ideas I will try them yet ya no out come.

Wildhare......you need to start a thread in the Yamaha GAS section for Tech Questions.....more people will see it. This section is just for introducing yourself.

btw......Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives’, husbands, girlfriend’s and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Check compression. It should be 120 psi if not more. Take your muffler off and see if it runs better. If so your muffler is gummed up.
