Default Yamaha G3

I have three Yamaha G1s and have had two other G1s. I love em. Someone recently told me about the Yamaha G3, which also uses the two stroke engine. Have any of yall had one or know where one may be for sale? I want one!

they seem to be rare and haven't come up for sale much around me here is SWF. I have seen maybe 2 in the last 2 years. One not running for $500 that sold quick and one for $1500 not running and in poor condition! I had no Idea they had the G1 drive train until recently which makes me want one more!

I know where there is one (it's my wife's neighborhood cruiser). I've been working on it to get it ready to sell, and it's in pretty good shape. Too bad you're all the way over in Georgia. (The sheepskin seat covers have been removed and the seats were professionally reupholstered. Pics available on request)

BTW, I'm not the Longhorn fan ... it was done before our ownership, and I just never got around to removing the decals.

I've got two G1s which are undergoing some upgrades/tune ups to "maybe" put on the market too. I haven't put prices on anything yet.

That thing is a jewel!! can you PM me the other photos you might have? I know very little about this machine but know the G1s pretty well. How does the hood open for engine access?

The seat lifts forward on floor hinges to allow "limited" access to the engine. The plastic behind the seat is removable for better access.

Little known details: (1) The seat is adjustable back and forward ... not very much (3"), but still adjustable. (2) Where the FWD/REV lever is on later carts is the ashtray. lol (3) It has red (idiot) lights for low fuel and low oil. (4) On the front pic, that large black rectangle between the headlights is opened and closed with a lever on the dash to allow fresh air to flow in. I call it my air conditioning ... ha. (5) The hood opening is a LARGE storage area, plus access to the fuses.

Anyway, I'll get some good shots of the dash, engine compartment, seat adjustment, etc. and PM them to you. It was probably interesting in its day. From the work I've done on it, I would say that it's all G1A under the seats. Some experts here may want to correct me.
