Adjusting cables
I have a 1998 gas Yamaha, that I put new forward and reverse cables on. Should I adjust them starting at the transaxle, or at the shift lever. I am new to fixing golf carts, and would appreciate any help on this matter. Just not sure where to start. Thanks Jim &Slim

Re: Adjusting cables
There is no adjustment at the transaxle connection other then matching up the "dots" on the cable "lever" and the shaft. All adjustments are done on the cables at the shifter lever bracket.

Re: Adjusting cables
Thanks for your advise, I don't have reverse as yet, but I believe if I adjust it some more it will come. I am not familiar with golf carts, but want to learn more about them. Thanks again.
