Default EZ-GO ST 4X4 ignition switch source

My dealer has informed me that EZ-GO part number 72926-G01 is no longer available. Unlike all other Textron products, this one was only produced four years and has never been well supported. Does anyone know of an alternative or another gas powered vehicle that uses the same switch?

Take it to a auto parts store and get them to cross refference the switch and see if they can get a simalar one. I did that for my starter generator and it was a 300$ difference

The same ignition switches (or comparable) are used in marine applications.

Here's an Example

You may have to double check the location of the terminals to what they do, compared to your original.

I found this out looking for a switch for my Cushman (another fine Textron product). You can also tell if it's a marine ignition switch because with the key inserted, you can push the ignition switch in - this is used for initialize the "choking" solenoid on outboards.

Doing a web search on that EZ-GO part number I did find other suppliers with this switch listed - their availability and of course, the higher EZ-GO cost may be something to consider.

Good Luck!

Just bought the last switch a dealer had in California. Been looking for this switch for over a year.
