Default Cart Identification

Can someone explain the different model numbers (TXT, RXV, Marathon, etc). of the EZGO golf carts and the difference in year models and electric vs gas models. I am trying to learn more about the carts for future ref as well as determining what I already have. I have been monitoring this site for several months but I have just began to get involved. Thanks to everyone for any info or help you may offer. Merry CHRISTmas
