2000 ezgo 2 cycle is slow to take off and won't climb hills
My 2000 ezgo 2 cycle cart is slow to take off and won't climb hills. I took it out to my course and it runs fine on flat ground but won't climb a hill even if you have a big run and go. It also takes a second to take off after you hit the gas. I'm totally new to golf carts and no very little about cars in general but any help would be greatly appreciated. Cart fees are killing me at my home course, I need this cart to run! Lol

Re: 2000 ezgo 2 cycle is slow to take off and won't climb hills
If its a 2000, you have a 4 cycle, 2 cylinder, probaly 295. Ill list some areas you can check out. 1) make sure your air cleaner is clean.2)make sure your carburetor is tight to the manifold.3) check or adjust your valve clearances)install new fuel filter if needed. 4) new spark plugs. 5) Clean your battery connections and grounds.
