Re: 2000 ezgo wont pull hills
Does fuel level in the tank make a difference? Cracked pick up tube?

Re: 2000 ezgo wont pull hills
If you can make it work once in a while, it has the ability. Seems like a linkage, or butterfly problem to me.
What happens if you come to a complete stop, and then try climbing the hill? EDIT: Spitting fuel is never a good thing. |

Re: 2000 ezgo wont pull hills
Have you ever tried to climb a hill with a dirt bike, and forget to downshift? It's in too high of a gear and bogs down.
I think you might be having the same problem. I'm not sure how these newer carts work, but you might want to check the rear end, and clutches. |

Re: 2000 ezgo wont pull hills
Could be your driven clutch is having issues and not down shifting per se. That clutch should constantly be trying to close and if it is having problems doing that due to a bad spring or ramp issues it will not.

Re: 2000 ezgo wont pull hills
I just had one that was bogging down. The generator was the culprit. The bad V/R was allowing the generator to overcharge. The engine was having to work too hard against it. Check your running voltage or unplug your regulator and see if it helps. It took me 2 weeks to find it and almost cost me my sanity.

Re: 2000 ezgo wont pull hills
It sounds like the drive clutch, meaning the clutch on the engine, not the clutch for the rear end. Sometimes the clutch get grooves on it and the belt won't slide correctly.
