2000 gas. W/350 motor
Have a issue I put a new 350 in had some electrical issues I figured out. So once it ran it task off like a bat out of hell, then it seems like it shifts and it looses about 5 mph. Is the clutch bad belt bad. I'm lost. Then yesterday I backed it out of garage and a hour later went to put back in the garage and the starter would only turn slowly not fast. It has a full charge on battey too. I'm lost stumped and frustrated please any help

Re: 2000 gas. W/350 motor
So here is a update. I jump the battery to the starter and boom the starter runs fine, I depress the gas pedal and engine won't fire. So do I have a bad selonoid or a gas pedal switch?

Re: 2000 gas. W/350 motor
sounds like the solenoid to me - easy diagnostic though, use a DMM to check the microswitch under the floor (the pedal switch) and if that's OK then move on to the solenoid, try jumping the big posts and if it spins correctly, the solenoid is shot

Re: 2000 gas. W/350 motor
So I got the gas and it sends some juice to the starter. Turns over slow, did this the other day and after about ten minutes of cruising it won't turn over again
