Default Thank you BGW Ezgo tech section!

Just had to say thanks. My oldest/best friend had a 97 txt gasser given to him for free and he wanted to fix it up for his daughter. This thing is a mess! With BGW site search I was able to get a service manual with a wireing diagham I just hope I'm up to the challenge to fix all the problems to get it running, wish us luck!

No luck needed. You'll get it if it ain't broke inside!

I give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe.

However, he is better qualified than I to achieve this goal, that's for dang sure! Gassers make me wince...

My concern would be years of reading Japanese repair manuals might confuse him.

Well, seems I can read a Ezgo wiring diagram With the rusted frame it was losing ground to the solenoid. Fixed that and after adjusting the valves, it now turns over and has compression back After fixing the ground we have spark also. Now for fuel issue. Never said I can fix any cart, but I will try for a friend.

This silly cart uses crankcase pressure (2 pounds? ) to pump fuel. SO if you use a filter don't expect to see it more than 1/2 full. The pump vacuum line should be replaced in any old gas Ezgo.
