2014 yamaha issue
N-R) will "stick" in reverse. I jumped on it, put it in R, drove it around, then put it in F, drove it some more. All was fijne? Next day I jumped back on it and put it in R to move it, and it moved ok but then when I went to F, the buzzer is stuck on and the car will not move. I inspected the wiring and the only thing I found was that the speed sensor had a wire pulled out of it which I repaired. I wouldn't think that'd cause any issue other than loss of speed control? Car battery pack is 51.3v, checked all the connections, etc--found no issues obvious. Still has the stock Moric controller. Does it sound like the controller might be bad? The FNR switch is working properly, I can disconnect the switch from the harness and the beeper stays on just the same. By looking at wiring diagram, it looks like +48v is supplied to the beeper all the time via tow/run switch, then the MCU grounds the other wire to make it beep in R, unless I read it wrong? So if that's the case there is 2 possibilities, wire grounding, OR failing MCU?
Am I right?
