![]() Hello everyone! I now have a 2016 Precedent with EFI.
I am trying to figure out why my cart will not go sometimes on the first few pedal pushes, it either does nothing or squeals and that's it. After 2+ presses it starts going. Could this be the solenoid or the starter maybe? |

![]() My guess is starter belt slipping, then it grabs and starts like normal. YD

After the squeal, you get nothing, no noise or nothing, like its dead. I ordered a new belt to see if it helps, will hopefully get it next week. |

![]() Tighten up your starter/Generator belt. You probably don't need a new one.

![]() Belt is worn or loose. The EFI engine has a higher compression than previous engines so it seems more prone to have the belt slip. Use a genuine Club Car belt. Aftermarkets will slip worse.
