Default rxv lithium conversion lacks run distance

have 3 30 amp hour allied drop in batteries in my 2013 rxv. i have never been able to get more than a trip to the golf course and back, about 15 miles. have been told i should be getting double that. all three batteries volt out the same at full charge and after a run. live in florida running on ground. any suggestions greatly appreciated

Some will tell you that 90ah is pretty minimal for an RXV and quite often they’ll say 105ah is recommended but it depends on how heavy your right foot is. Measure your amp draw with different throttle settings.

Can you read your BMS state with a smartphone and a BT connection? If not, you might never know what's wrong, but you could see the battery charge is.

i can read the bms, looks normal to me 23-25 amp draw at full road speed

Read your battery voltage once they have finished charging. They should read from 54V to 58.4V, for a 48v system

full charge is 53.8 volts

Try checking voltage with a meter at each battery at different intervals.

53.8V is 96% so that shouldn't be a problem. What happens when you exceed 15 miles. Does the cart just shut off?
