Re: Hi-Power batteries
Just had my navitas 1000 rebuilt for my bad boy buggy. Didn't want to risk canning it again at 950 a rebuild over shitty old batteries. I found allen at hipower batteries to be fourth coming and informative about his product. Gave me a confident feeling so i pulled the trigger on the 120hr battery with 10amp water resistant on board charger. Cart only gained 2mph on top end but throws rooster tails of all 4 tires in the gravel drive with alot of acceleration. Figure the cart lost 450lbs.Took it to the us131 dragstrip for the weekend to see Memphis Street outlaws on the maiden voyage. Drove it all day with a cooler of beer and about 1200lbs of cornfed hillbillies on it. I guess i was driving 25 to 30 miles with alot of stop and go driving with an excessive amount of weight. I was only getting 10 miles by myself straight line cruising with the old lead acid batteries. Very satisfied with the product and like the fact there are only 2 connections to 1 battery. If you guys have questions or want to see my setup just holler back! Hope this helps. I really like the onboard charger. I wired a marine shore power plug and store an extension cord with the gained extra space. Old lead acid charger would pull my generac inverter generator down pretty good. Now it doesn't even twitch with eco mode on. If this holds up for the long haul i would consider it a great buy
